Thanks for stopping by to view some of our recent remodels. Please keep in mind that we have more pictures available in our portfolio that cover many other types of projects as well as more thorough before/after progression. Enjoy!!
This is a great example of how you don't have to have a lot of space to have a beautiful kitchen!! The picture on the left shows the layout before we began. For this remodel we swapped the location of the sink with the stove, added the skylight, recessed & under cabinet lighting, tiled the backsplash and finished off with a really nicely lit open shelf cabinet. The homeowner chose cherry for the cabinets with a "shaker" style door/drawer. All of the cabinetry was built Locally by Shoemaker Woodworking.
This kitchen suffered from a very poor layout that "trapped" you inside due to the very linear layout of the cabinets. The picture on the left shows the right angle cabinet that was adjacent to the sink. This left a very tight walkway between the counter top and the refrigerator. To rectify this, we came off of the sink cabinet with a very wide angle which gave the walkway more room and allowed the whole kitchen to flow better. The homeowners drew out how they wanted the granite to be shaped around the curve and our fabricators made it happen. It was really gratifying for the homeowners to put their own finishing touch into the remodel. Other features of this remodel are a glass/copper inlay backsplash and under cabinet lighting. All of the cabinetry was built Locally by Shoemaker Woodworking
Here is a great example of how taking down a wall can really open up the flow of not only the kitchen, but the whole house as well. The homeowners can actually talk with family/guests that are in the living room while preparing a meal. On this particular remodel, the homeowners chose to finish off the backsplash and a few other details themselves so this picture is not a 100% finished product. If you would like to take on certain tasks in order to help with your budget or just simply for personal satisfaction we are all for it!! A really different feature of this kitchen is the counter tops. Notice how they go from dark grey to wood at the front area. This is a transition from concrete(the dark grey) to bamboo. These two materials combined to make a spectacular finish to a beautiful kitchen. No one else in town I know of is offering bamboo counter tops. They are very unique and extremely durable. Other features of this remodel are recessed lights, under cabinet lights, self closing doors/drawers, recessed refrigerator, glass faced "bridge" cabinets with interior lighting and exposed structural framing beams. The cabinetry chosen is cherry, with a very sleek, flat "slab" style door/drawer. All cabinetry was built Locally by Shoemaker Woodworking.
